Your Pelvic Health Occupational Therapist and Owner in Beaumont, TX
As a mom of two little ones, I know how important it is to consider my clients busy lives when addressing pelvic floor issues.
Complicated exercise program and unrealistic expectations are not part of how I treat my clients. I consider all the factors including your family, lifestyle, interests, and hobbies. Along with addressing your mental health, your digestive health, and hormonal health.
After giving birth to my second child, I knew I wanted to help other woman navigate pregnancy and post-partum recovery in a way that felt supported and not overwhelming.
As experienced as I was as a practicing health professional for many years, I still found the information that is provided to birthing woman confusing. I felt unsupported and often left in the dark.
Once I began my career in pelvic health, I knew I found my home, helping others learn about what is happening with their bodies and how to help themselves.
Not long after I started my pelvic health career, I found that woman were not the only ones who needed help, Men do too.
And I quickly discovered that I loved supporting men with digestive health issues, urinary incontinence, and pre and post prostate cancer treatments.
So, I made it my life’s mission to become a pelvic floor therapist who support all pelvis and their owners to live their lives to the fullest.
It’s hard to make time for yourself when your taking care of others. I became an occupational therapist because I wanted to help people live their lives in a way that feels manageable and informed. This is why I have chosen to offer therapy in the convivence of your home and options for telehealth.
